What I’m Loving about Summer

Although summer time isn’t my favorite season (living in the desert in Southern California probably has something to do with it), I am sharing what I am LOVING about summer.

Let’s start with dresses. Long or short, they are pretty much my go-to piece in the closet for a quick yet flattering and pretty outfit. Lately, with the maxi being all the rage, it has been the easiest because I can skip the shave. (Because that’s why we wear them right? lol)

Nothing says refreshing like ice cold cucumber water-especially when it’s in an adorable mason jar with a hole cut out for your straw! This would be perfect for your summer BBQs!

A splash of color with bright nail polish. When I attended the Elevate blog conference this past May, I received this pretty polish by Julep in my swag bag and I adore it! It’s called Georgia.

Simple yet colorful place settings for any event. I used some single stems, wrapped them in lace and attached a chalkboard paper to each. Cute right?

Motivational art. Since the summer time seems to be a time where we as women tend to notice any little “flaw” on our body due to swimsuit season, it’s good to have little reminders that we are beautiful the way we are and each of us is unique! I got this piece from Elevate as well which was created by Elise’s Pieces.
