At 6 months he says mama? My goodness. I don’t know anything about when certain milestones happen so whenever I see something like that it kind of blows me away. Pearl could possibly be saying mama or dada in just a month and a half? Weird.
We were actually really surprised with “Mama” because most babies don’t start speaking til around 9 months to a year. At first I didn’t think he was actually saying it and more just playing with different sounds. But, then people kept noticing and saying, “how sweet…he is saying ‘Mama!'” Then my husband was with him all day and every time he would try to feed him, Xander would get upset, shake his head, and say, “Mamamamama!” Finally I had to believe it when the baby sitter said the same thing. I don’t think he understands that “Mama” is me necessarily, but rather says that when he wants to be nursed.
