Favorite August Posts from A Well Crafted Party

Boy oh boy… August and September have been the two busiest months of my year so far! It took me this long to finally get out this story about my favorite posts from August. And, I had a lot to choose from… I published 33 posts this past month. Below are some of my favorites. But, if you want to see everything that went up in August (just in case you missed something) then just click on over to my August 2013 Archives.

My favorite posts from August 2013:

These really include some posts that reflect some really awesome memories. I don’t know if I’d say any of them are my best post ever. But, I had an amazing time creating most of these posts and that puts them at the top of my list:

I also really enjoyed being able to bring a week of giveaways and freebies to the site with Giveaway Week 2013. I really hope to be able to do one giveaway week a year because it was such fun! Congrats to the winners of the giveaways: Holly for the Scarf, Jessica W. won the party supplies, and Brittany of Beaux and Belles won the sponsor space!

Other places I’ve been in August:

I’ve been trying my best to get out on the web in places other than my little corner of it. I was thrilled to be included in the following awesome websites:

It is already August. Was this the fastest month ever, or what? Seriously. I’m getting super excited about what August and September are bringing A Well Crafted Party. I’ve got some fun new projects coming up, some features coming out, Portland Fashion Week, and FEAST. But, before I jump head first into the two busiest months ever, I want to share some of my favorite posts from this past month.

If you haven’t noticed, I’m trying to step things up here at A Well Crafted Party. I’m now offering fun new sponsorship opportunities that give sponsors so much more than they got in the past. My husband is giving the male perspective once a week on the blog. I’m trying my best to post daily and more consistently. I’m posting about a variety of topics including health & fitness, fashion, food, beverages, things to do in Portland, and of course, PARTIES! I have a brand new design that I think works really well for a blog that covers so many different topics. I still have a lot of categorizing and image uploading to do before this site is 100%, but it is certainly on its way. I hope you like it and think about sticking around for more!

Anyways, with no further ado…

Can’ you believe it is already June? I can’t. Not at all. June is going to be a CRAZY month for me. We’ve got our 7-year anniversary, a styled wedding photo shoot, my husband’s birthday, Father’s Day, a trip to Texas, a bachellorette party, and a wedding to participate in! WHOA.

One Pan Pasta in Martha Stewart Living
One Pan Pasta in Martha Stewart Living

I made this one pan pasta the same day that I pulled my Martha Stewart Living from my mailbox. I didn’t get around to taking a picture of the final product… because it was DELICIOUS. And, so freakin’ quick! Over the past couple of weeks I have been seeing tweets and blog posts of people trying this for themselves. Everyone is raving. Want to make it at home tonight? Martha put it online too— One Pan Pasta recipe. (Oooh… and, check out Martha’s new beta site.)
