Disclaimer: This post is not a sponsored post. However, I was invited to a compensated focus group at Favery (without expectations for posting). I was also invited to a free brunch at Imperial by the PR company Little Green Pickle. No promises of posting or positive reviews were given. No other compensation was provided. All opinions are my own.

Okay, so really….. all of the following things that I’m including in my weekend update really happened during the week. I spent Friday through Sunday working on my computer, so I didn’t take a single photo! But, my week was jam packed and super awesome.

I’d definitely be inspired if I worked in an office like this everyday!

Monday evening I joined a small group of fashion-loving ladies for a focus group at the Favery offices in Portland. We spent about two hours talking all about online shopping and our thoughts on the Favery site. It was so exciting to see how our opinions really mattered to the creator of the site and how they might be implemented in the future. I’m really excited to see the exciting things coming to the site. I see some of the changes already happening!

Thursday morning I was invited by PR company, Little Green Pickle to enjoy a meal at Imperial in downtown Portland with a few area food bloggers. I’m going to reserve most of my thoughts about this amazing meal for a different post, because it deserves its own post. However, let me just say… WOW. I was in brunch heaven and enjoyed a smokey bloody mary to boot.

Thursday evening I was asked to speak at an event with The CRAVE Company on blogging for your business. The event was at Mac! Mac and Cheesery in N Portland. There was so much great information that came out of the discussion. I can’t wait to share it with you all and implement some of it into my own blogs. I have my work cut out for me. But, would you be interested in a series on blogging and the business of blogging?

I’m linking this post up to Sami’s Shenanigans Weekend Shenanigans linky party.
