I have been MIA the past couple days here on the blog even though it is right in the prime party season of Mardi Gras, Valentine’s Day, and President’s Day. What? You don’t celebrate President’s Day?
But, while there haven’t been posts here on A Well Crafted Party there has been some work. I changed the look of the blog finally. I wanted simple and bright. I am sure I’ll be changing the design for a bit now until I get it perfect. But, I needed a change and I needed it NOW.
I’m always amazed with how quickly the weekend flies by… and, then I sit down to write a “Weekend in Review” post and I realize that there was a good reason for the quickness— I’ve been busy!
This weekend I prepped and help host a Valentine’s Day Ladies’ Night over at my friend Suzannah’s beautiful home. I spent my Friday evening making fabric roses, hand-lettering signs, and prepping Valentines. I have some fun projects from the party to share with you this week, and of course, photos from the party itself!
Saturday was all party, party, party. We invited a few friends over and had a blast chatting, snacking, crafting, and taking photos in the photo booth. (see animation above) These ladies have STYLE! You can look at any of them to get some ideas for something to wear this upcoming Valentine’s Day!

I also secured some final details on the March 10 Portland Bloggers’ meet-up and set up the ticket sales for the event. If you are a Portland-area blogger then you will certainly want to get your ticket before they sell out… this event is going to be AMAZING! Attendees are going to get the chance to pose for Portland photographers, learn tips on how to make their photos better, and more. Click here to purchase your $10 ticket!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I’ll be back tomorrow to share some more Valentine’s Day fun!

UPDATE: 9/14/14 I used to have these prints in my Etsy shop, but have since closed the shop. I now have them linked below as free printables. If you like the printables I’d appreciate you sharing via social media or subscribing to my newsletter! Every edition of my newsletter comes with a set of brand new free printables!

I’ve been having a lot of fun doing some hand lettered illustrations that are all about LOVE! I’ve picked some of my favorite quotes and drawn them out. I really enjoy the look of hand lettered quotes framed up on the walls. So, I hope you enjoy these little printables. I’ve got several of them in the Scribd shop for an affordable price as a digital download or you can purchase them customized in your color choices and in 3 sizes from my Etsy store. They’d make a sweet gift for a friend or loved one this upcoming Valentine’s Day.

PS. Because I love you and it is almost Valentine’s Day… I have a 20% OFF coupon code for my Etsy shop! Which means you can get the printables for even cheaper! CODE: LOVE20
