A few weeks back I helped a friend Joan throw together a simple, but fun “Breakfast for Dinner” Birthday Party for a mutual friend, Ryan.
His only requests were “Bacon and something with Chocolate for dessert.”
So, with those requests in mind we rolled with the idea of Breakfast for Dinner. We made the “main” attraction a Waffle bar with all kinds of delicious fixin’s. We then served breakfast pizza, BACON, roasted potatoes and salad to ride-side the waffles.
(Oh, and by BACON… I mean like 4 pounds. seriously.)
For drinks we had a station of the best breakfast cocktails:
bloody marys, mimosas and coffee with cordials.
A Breakfast of Champions, indeed!
Oh, and the chocolate dessert? Donuts from a Portland shop called Coco Donuts.
And, if you love donuts the way I do and live in Portland then you MUST visit this store. The owners are amazingly nice and the donuts are just PERFECT (in my donut loving opinion). The owners were closing up the shop for the day when I came in and they were so accommodating and sweet… can’t say enough good things!
For favors I made “eggs and bacon” treats to hand out to guests. These were a hit!
Thank you for visiting the blog today and checking out the
